Jim White is signed by Ford to provide twice-weekly Champions League comment and feature material for their web-based, Feel Football programme.
Laura Williamson interviews Sir Bobby Robson for the latest edition of the Leader magazine and signs a contract with the Daily Mail.
Ben Jacobs debuts on BBC1's Final Score and helps produce the BBC radio campaign for Euro 2008, as well as increasing his regular output for 5 Live.

Paul Kimmage wins the Sports Interviewer of the Year title for the fourth consecutive year at the prestigious Sports Journalism Awards. Paul Hayward, Stephen Jones,
Sue Mott, David Conn and James Lawton are all short listed in their categories, with Paul Hayward also runner-up as Sport Journalist of the Year.
John Taylor previews Wales' matches for Sky News during their successful Six Nations campaign.

Paul Hayward chief sports writer at the Daily Mail, and much applauded for his work with Michael Owen and
Sir Bobby Robson on their recent autobiographies,
joins the DWM team. He thus renews an association with David Welch with whom he previously worked on the
multi-award winning pages of the Daily Telegraph
broadsheet Sport Supplements.
Meanwhile, James Lawton, SJA sports feature writer of the year, agrees a new contract with the Independent, keeping him at the paper at least until the London Olympics in 2012.
The first of three books (pictured right) in Tom Watt's educational series for publishers, Rising Stars - based on football - is published to an enthusiastic response from schools across the country.
January 2008
Stuart Barnes becomes an 'ambassador' for Betfair during the Six Nations championship, and hosts events
for the company at Twickenham.
Tom Watt agrees to supply new football website 'StarSquad' with exclusive copy concerning some of the country's leading performers, and, along with Jim White, continues to make regular appearances on
Five Live's Fighting Talk.
Patrick Barclay similarly extends his run on the Simon Mayo show, other mid-week Radio5 programmes, and Setanta's 'Football Matters'.
Mark Hodgkinson, highly-regarded tennis correspondent of the Daily Telegraph, is a welcome new addition to the DWM line-up.

Tom Watt agrees to host a weekly Fans Forum starting on Friday nights in January for the new Arsenal TV station, which proves so popular that air-time for the programme is immediately extended.
Lucinda Green presents Lewis Hamilton with his trophy as International newcomer of the Year at the Sports Journalists' annual Awards lunch (above right).
James Lawton caps a wonderful 12 months - in which he produced the most successful sports book of the year with Sir Bobby Charlton - by being named as Sports Journalist of the year in the What the Papers Say Awards (below right). David Conn is runner-up with Martin Samuel of The Times.
Sue Mott is enlisted again as a judge in the annual
British Sports Book Awards.

Paul Kimmage is named Sports Interviewer of the Year at the 2006 Sports Journalists' Association Awards for the third year running, with Sue Mott short-listed here and in the Columnist of the Year category. James Lawton wins the coveted Feature Writer of the Year title, with Paul Kimmage highly commended. Stephen Jones is judged to have produced the Sports Story of the Year, and Mihir Bose is short-listed in the Sports News Reporter section.
Following earlier appearances by Tom Watt, Will Buckley and David Conn, Jim White and Sue Mott become the latest DWM clients to join Radio 5 Live's popular Saturday morning programme, Fighting Talk. Paddy Barclay, meanwhile, continues to feature regularly on 5 Live's mid-week sports shows.

Stephen Jones and Stuart Barnes are signed to contribute columns to Rugby World, with Stephen also contracted to the New Zealand version of the magazine.
