Kay Clarkson

Kay’s work in the media began with ATV on a live weekly sports’ programme. She then graduated to the production office of ITV’s World of Sport and later to ITV Sport athletics’ office.

At other times, Kay handled research for a BBC2 sports’ documentary series and was involved in ITV’s coverage of the Seoul Olympic Games and 1991 Rugby World Cup. Was CPMA’s broadcast rights negotiator/co-ordinator for the World Student Games in Sheffield and produced the official FISU video
of the Games.

Kay was involved from day one at Sky Television as production co-ordinator for Eurosport, negotiating with over 200 commentators. Following BSkyB’s sale of Eurosport, Kay went to work for the independent media company TSL, after which she joined John Bromley to deal with the day-to-day running of his Consultancy.

She was twice joint co-ordinator of the IAAF World Athlete of the Year Gala in Monte Carlo and is now regularly involved in the organisation of cricket events, gala dinners, golf days and helped organise the London Marathon 25th Anniversary dinner.
