Jim White
An award-winning columnist with the Daily Telegraph - for which he has covered all the world's major sporting events - Jim is well known and highly regarded in all parts of the media.
A long-serving contributor to Radios 4 and 5, he consistently appears on BBC television and Sky for which he has recently written, and presented, documentaries on Jose Mourinho and Sven-Goran Eriksson. Most recently he fronted coverage of Celtic's Champions' League campaign on STV. He is also a regular on BBC2's What the Papers Say, and a presenter of the Travel Show.
His radio work includes regular appearances on Saturday morning's Fighting Talk, the hosting of Back Row - BBC Radio 4's film magazine show - and, he often contributes to Front Row and Saturday Review on Radio 4.
He presents many other live studio programmes for Radio 5 Live (including when standing in for Nicky Campbell and on 'Sport on Five'). Jim has been the presenter of seven documentary series for Radio 5 Live - including the Live Obituary Show and Dream Team. Jim won Sony Gold Award for the station's Wembley Obituary Show in 2001.
Jim has partaken in a wide range of television work, for STV and BBC in particular. He recently starred as an expert on the new, nightly quiz shoe KnowItAlls for BBC2.
He has also written several successful books - often involving Manchester United (the great sporting passion of his life) and the subject of a 500,000 word publication from Kraken Opus where he acted as lead writer alongside James Lawton and Jonathan Northcroft.
Jim is a regular contributor to Square Meal magazine, Word magazine, 4-4-2 and Eurosport - for whom he writes a twice-weekly column on the Champions League.
